Bellows

Since the creation of PICARD Technologies, we have always helped our customers protect their machines through the use of various types of bellows.

Custom-made bellows, for original equipment, defined designs, or according to specifications — suitable for both new and existing machines.
In all cases, we will work closely with you to provide guidance and advice on the most suitable product for your applications.
Below you will find the most common bellow shapes, as well as the materials we are able to offer.
The benchmark for an excellent quality-to-price ratio:

Black or translucent FDA-grade PVC,
A flexible and durable material suitable for use in conditions without abrasion or risk of cuts or tears. Resistant to oils and greases, with an operating temperature range of -15°C to +65°C. Optional zipper or Velcro® fastening available.

Fabric-reinforced bellows
Designed for heavy mechanical stress, highly resistant to tearing and abrasion, and suitable for higher operating temperatures. The fabric-reinforced bellow is made from a technical fabric that is cut and then stitched together in the required fabric grade.

Kevlar, Nomex®, or polyester, etc., depending on the application.
Excellent resistance to friction and abrasion, with a higher operating temperature than PVC.
Silicone or aluminised coating available.

In most cases, we can offer decompression eyelets, zippers, or Velcro® fastenings to avoid disassembling the components to be protected.

Our range also includes the manufacture of custom-machined PTFE bellows (Teflon®).

For more demanding applications, it is recommended to use moulded bellows made from an elastomer specially selected for the intended application.
We are able to create a mould and manufacture your parts in-house. We can also engrave your logo, brand, or references directly into the mould so that they appear on each of your parts. You can also choose the colour of your components.
