Sidetex® chevron seals are sealing components most commonly used in the field of hydraulic sealing.
Sidetex® seals are composed of several chevron-shaped elements that interlock with each other.
They are manufactured from technical fabrics coated with different elastomers, depending on the application.
The fabric, intimately bonded with the elastomer, allows the parts to be moulded under high pressure and temperature. Acting as a reinforcement, the fabric enables the seal to withstand very high pressures — levels that all-elastomer seals, even those made of polyurethane, could not endure.
Sidetex® seals are available in several profiles adapted to different applications.

In certain cases, Sidetex® seals can be supplied pre-cut to facilitate assembly or when required by the installation.
The Sidetex® range covers diameters from 10 mm up to more than 2,300 mm.
