Depending on your interactions (website, forms, business or after-sales exchanges), we may process:
– Identification and contact details: first name, last name, position, company, business address, phone number, email.
– Customer/supplier relationship data: communication history, quotes, orders, deliveries, invoicing, claims.
– Application data: CV, cover letter, interview information.
– Technical browsing data (via our website): pages visited, timestamps, technical identifiers, IP address, cookies and similar technologies (see Cookie Policy).
We do not request or process any so-called “sensitive data” (as defined under the GDPR).


3. For What Purposes and on What Legal Bases?
– Management of requests and business relationships (responses to forms, quotes, orders, after-sales service) — performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6-1-b GDPR).
– B2B marketing and communication (invitations, news related to our activities) — legitimate interest (Art. 6-1-f), with the right to object at any time.
– Management of job applications and HR processes — pre-contractual measures, followed by legal obligations where applicable.
– Website security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest.
– Compliance with legal obligations (accounting, taxation, regulatory compliance) — legal obligation (Art. 6-1-c).

– Website operation and audience measurement — legitimate interest or consent, depending on the cookies used.


4. How Long Do We Retain Your Data?
– B2B prospects / contact requests: 3 years after the last active interaction.
– Customers & suppliers: for the duration of the contract, then archived in accordance with legal requirements (e.g. accounting records retained for 10 years).
– Job applicants: 2 years after the last contact in the absence of recruitment, unless an objection is raised.
– Technical data / logs: up to a maximum of 12 months, then archived or anonymised.
Retention periods may be adjusted as necessary to comply with legal obligations or to preserve our rights in the event of a dispute.


5. Who Are the Recipients of Your Data?
Access is restricted to authorised Picard Technologies teams (sales, administrative, technical, HR) and to our service providers acting on our behalf (hosting, maintenance, email services, business tools, analytics, invoicing).
We do not sell your data. Any transfer to third parties is carried out with appropriate contractual and security safeguards.


6. Are Your Data Transferred Outside the European Economic Area (EEA)?
If certain service providers are located outside the EEA or transfer data there, we ensure
that appropriate safeguards are in place (the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses,
with supplementary measures where necessary). You may obtain information about these safeguards by writing to contact@picard-technologies.com.


7. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act (“Informatique et Libertés”), you have the following rights:
– Access, rectification, and erasure of your data,
– Restriction of processing,
– Objection to processing, including for marketing purposes,
– Data portability for the information you have provided to us,
– Withdrawal of your consent at any time when processing is based on consent.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorised access
(access controls, backups, encryption where applicable, access rights management, and contractual commitments with our subcontractors).

10. Minors
Our services and communications are not intended for minors. For online services requiring consent, the digital age of consent in France is set at 15 years old.

We do not make any decisions producing legal effects concerning you that are based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
